Mars or a Rogue that is the question
« on: March 24, 2009, 12:16:26 AM »
I had all intentions of getting a Mars, but now listening to people rave about the rogue I've go this new idea ....thanks a lot people!

With the Mars now i just feel im risking of being redundant.  I can always adjust the cover to change it up with my Pluto.

Is the rogue worth it?  I mainly bowl on THS, a few tournaments here and there.  I am lacking something in the stronger ball reaction department.  Currently throwing a Pluto, Fired Up, Diablo, and a Troad Pearl.  The troad I hate so it doesnt count  I can open the lane with the Fired Up, but sometimes it just isnt enough.

So the question is do I go to Mars, or become a Rogue man.??

Now that doesnt help!
You do raise a valid point. Due to having to pay for a honeymoon one is the only option currently.  Maybe I can swing the other with roll off money sometime in May.

Sorry Brodie...I couldn't decide either. I probably would get the Mars if I had to choose one. The main reason I got the Rogue is for Vegas. I needed something stronger than what I currently have in the bag.

There is no comparison between the two.  And it seems that you already have a tame ball, so get the Rogue.

You won't be sorry.

"Stronger reaction department"

Define what that means to you...  Downlane, early read, total hook what is it?  These two balls are at opposite ends of the reaction spectrum in many ways, we need to understand what you want out of it to make an accurate recommendation.

Buy a ball reaction, not a ball.

I bought both and absolutely love the Mars.  It is stronger then I thought it was going to be.  It kills the house shot were I bowl.  I have only been able to use the Rogue for 2 games so far because it is just too strong for a house shot.

Point taken steve.  What i need in the reaction department is probably what the Rogue is going to give me.  I need a strong midlane and no nonsense break point.  Again something im lacking.

I was merely entertaining the idea of a Mars as I am very very fond of my pluto.

Now my next dilemma is layout!
