Hi All,
I can have either of these balls, all things being equal which is stronger, if I got both I would use the Onyx as a medium condition ball and the Mar as a light oil ball.
Thanks in advance

I personally would switch those around. For me the Mars was more aggressive.

The Mars cover is a bit more aggressive and the Onyx Vibe core more dynamic IMO.
Instead of targeting these for oil volume I'd look at them more for how you want to play the lanes. I'd drill the Mars 5x3 pin down for more of a down and in shot and drill the Onyx Vibe 4x4 with about a 2" pin buffer when you need to move in and swing it more.

I definitely saw my Onyx as stronger than the Mars, the Onyx started earlier and hooked more on everything, the Mars was quite mild for me.

I don't have a Mars, so I can't give a direct comparison, but I will say the Onyx Vibe is a little stronger then advertised. Based on what I have seen of my teammate throwing the Mars, it will pick up earlier on the lane and probably hook a little more then the Mars. Some of that can be changed with the drill as well.

As others said, the Mars is stronger than advertised...too much ball for true light oil...

That which doesn't kill you will only make you stronger, that which doesn't make you stronger is a waste of time!

The Onyx vibe is MUCH stronger than the Mars. I was able to use my Onyx on Med-Hevy oil... The Mars for me was strictly for the light stuff..
