The mecury and saturn from what I have gathered are basicly the same ball with the saturn having a stronger shell. Has anyone drilled these two balls up the same? wit same cover prep. drop me some feedback.

They have the same core and same coverstock base, as far as I know. The Mercury is pearlized and polished, while the Saturn is solid (non-pearlized) and sanded to 800 grit dull. A friend has both and they seem to me, from watchin him use them to be very good complements to one another, when drilled similarly and left in their stick finish.

they ARE essentially the same ball.....same cover base, same core.....

One pearl 1500 grit polish, one solid 800 smooth
