(For what it's worth, you really shouldn't say "good" axis rotation. The only "good" axis rotation is the proper amount for that particular lane condition for that particular bowler and ball.
I assume you just mean you have a lot of axis rotation.)
I have yet to see a condition where my Mutant Cell could really shine for more than about half a game. It's just too freakin' strong for its own good! I drilled it for fresh oil when the backs are jumping and I need a piece that can cut through the oil and be predictable. I went with a 4.25" pin to PAP and a 2.5" pin buffer that put the pin up and right of the ring finger with roughly a 5.75" pin to MB. This makes the ball very controllable since it revs up quickly but predictably. Kind of a hook/set reaction, but it really drives hard through the back and carries much better than you'd think. However, it needs a LOT of oil up front to save up this energy. I got to use it for 6 frames yesterday on the Kegel Middle Road pattern in a tournament before I put it up. And I've got slightly less hand than you do.
Waiting to try it at the Bradley Open in a couple weeks in Lexington, KY. 50-53 feet of oil should help it get down the lane.
