Title: Mutant Cell Pearl
Post by: Mikemack42 on December 25, 2010, 01:12:17 PM
So i havent been active in the bowling arena for about 5 years, i have joined a mens league and am back in the swing of things, but want to continue to get better and increase my arsenal. I currently have a Storm Prodigy as well as a Track 505A and my favorite ball the Track Phenom Unleashed

I was wondering if this would fit well into my bag, I currently am looking to fill holes, opinions and inside would be great, Thanks ahead of time guys

it would probably be the most aggressive ball you have. but without knowing. how you throw its hard to say if its what you need. j stand at  the middle dot and throw up 10. i throw about 15 mph and lift the ball a bitand its perfect for me on any shot.
i also have a anarchy which is stronger their both good balls

Just rolled the MCP on a burned up house shot last night.  I thought it would fail here, but I was wrong.  Ball held out long enough and was very predicatble.  It kind of reminded me of a little bit stronger version of my Absolute Inferno.

I would add a hybrid, like the

Nomad Dagger
Reign Supreme
Hy-road

That would fill some gaps between your solids and pearls

I found the MCP to be a dud.  For a ball that was is expected to be a back end beast....for me it's a flop.  I can easily rate this ball in terms of motion less than every ball available from Roto Grip today, with the exception of the Grenade (maybe) and the poly balls.

I didn't get much mid lane read and back end movement was hit and miss.  I was fortunate however to get a good looking one....

Ok, here is a comparison.  I have a Silver Streak SE and could play that ball from almost anywhere yesterday and couldn't do anything with my MCP.

If you are looking for a ball that will give you a wide range of play I would put a strong drilling on a Riot and adjust the surface for your conditions.  The Photon core is a good core and the Vision cover is way stronger than advertised.

This tells me that you don't see enough oil to be using the MCP and it's rolling out thus DOA in the mids.

I have a Swarm that's a hook monster on mediums to medium light when my MCP dies..

Yes. it's I, the Inverted One..
