Title: Neptune
Post by: Jmiller88 on October 06, 2009, 02:09:32 AM
Is roto going to release another ball that is just like the neptune was? It is hard to find a ball that rolled as well as this ball did on the scorched shots.

bowlingball.com still has neptunes in stock for $82.99.  I would say if this ball works well for you, I would get another one.

Im going to get another one, but i know that they will be hard to find soon. everything that is being released is just way to strong, they should have kept the neptune in the line with the pluto and mars.

I think that is why you are seeing more and more Urethane balls. I can't remember a time in the last ten years when we had this many Urethanes to choose from:

Storm Natural
AMF Hype
Visionary Ogre Urethane
Seismic Desperado
Lane #1 Liberator
Brunswick Groove Urethane

Forgive me if I missed any...but that's a bunch of Urethanes compared to any other time in recent memory.

Very true, but the only bad thing with the urethane balls is how early it picks up the roll. Does this mean since they are going back to urethane in another 10 years they will come out with new balls that have old technology. Maybe like a new version of the too hott or something along that line?
