Neptune...How much ball really?

Anyone have any experence with it yet? Looking at the specs it looks like a nothing ball, but Roto's are generally stronger then they appear. I need something in the medium/light oil area, my Venus even at 4000Grit and Highly polished is WAY too much ball for medium/lighter conditions.

i have a neptune, pin under middle finger, and it is fairly strong, especially if it sees any dry. it has a slight tendency to slide when it encounters oil, but other than that, id say it is stronger than it appears, even with the weak drilling i put on it. If i had to compare it to a ball, id say that it is about as strong as my fired up, maybe a slight bit weaker. hope this helps.

I have a Neptune with the pin above the ring finger and cg in palm.  According to the sheet it was supposed to be the longest drill (10 out of 10) with a mild arcing backend reaction (3 out of 10).  Well, compared to my TNV it is a little longer with a nice arc to the pocket off the dry.  When I first threw the two together at a tournament this past weekend I thought the Neptune was reading earlier than my TNV and was really surprised then I moved five boards left and got in the oil a bit more and the ball really shined.  I was one of the few people at the tournament that, after 10 games with toasted heads, could throw some decent hook and stay on the right side of the headpin.
