Pearl/Particle cleaning

I just purchased a Rsp couple of weeks ago and use a particle cleaner right after bowling. Am I using the correct cleaner or should I be using Pearl cleaner. Thanks for any help

Actually, according to http://www.bowl.com/specs/ballCleaner.aspx, denatured alcohol is not acceptable at any time.  Neither before, during, nor after competition.  Meaning, whenever you clean your balls, you shouldn't use denatured alcohol.

Without getting into debate over usefulness, merit, or validity of the rule, you should stop using it.

the best/economic way to clean your rsp would be to mix orange clean with 70% rubbing alcohol..it's a great cleaner and won't leave any residue.

According to the Roto Grip website the suggested cleaner for particle balls is Storm's "Mega Bite Cleaner". They do not however specify pearl or solid coverstocks. You can find all of the suggested cleaning & resurfacing suggestions under the Reaction corner then the Coverstock Maintenance tab.

I use Black Magic's Orange Labeled Particle cleaner.
Works Great!  I think roto-grip's web-site has a cover maintenance suggestion screen for each of the different covers/finishes in their line.
Check it out.
