If you have read some of my previous posts, you may have seen that I was never crazy about my Nomad.  It was the ball that I was looking forward to the most when I first got it and I just never did well with it and consequently have hardly used.  At the end of last season I put it on my spinner and hit with a green scotch bright pad and it just didn't have much reaction.  So this summer I decided to put polish (Bean's secret sauce) right over the top of the scotch bright surface.  Threw it in practice and messed around with the thumb hole a little bit, which I think made a big difference as the ball was finally coming off my hand good.  I liked the reaction so decided to put it back in my bag.  Tonight was our first night of league and I started with the Nomad and it never went back in the bag until the lanes were off.  I shot my first ever 800 series with games of 278, 278, and 277 for an 833!  I also was sporting my new Roto Grip towel tonight.     Thank you Roto Grip, King of them All!

Thanks guys!  It was a fun night and I definately finally had all the breaks go my way.  After getting the ball a little wide in the 10'th of the second game and having it come in way high, I thought about changing balls for the last game.  Decided to stay with the Nomad and got too wide again in the 3'rd of the last game and left a 3, 6, 9.  Managed to cover that and then moved my feet further left and my target left to keep away from the scorched outsides.  I tugged the first shot after that move and the oil held it on line.  Went sheet after that for the 277 with good shots except for the first one in the 10'th which was another tug I got away with.
