Well, if you liked the Roto Grip Defiant, and want another, now is the time to get it. The Defiant and Defiant Edge have now officially been discontinued and are listed in the Ancestry section of rotogrip.com.

Now, that makes me speculate on what Roto Grip will come out with next for their HP4 line...

I think theyre going to stick with it for a while to be honest...but I could be totally wrong..the right time for change woulda been the time frame for the totally defiant right? I think they will go non particle solid defiant next...

That would be an interesting release if it happens. In my case, I really like throwing the original when there is really heavy volume (some of the centers around here actually put out the flood). It's just matched up really well, and prefer it over the VG Nano that I used to throw.

So now that we have the Defiant Soul and the Totally Defiant, it may not be a stretch to see an "Insanely Defiant" come out as a new name.

I think you will see the end of the Defiant line after the Totally. Storm and Roto are notorious for discontinuing the top end line after 3-5 balls.

I think the matte finish on the Sould gave it the look of a solid resin. You could see a solid resin Defiant from them but then I would all but guarantee that would be the end. I suspect you will see a solid resin put on the next generation line, whatever that may be.
