quote:It would seem to me (not being able to find actual specs on the original) that the core and cover on the same so the only thing different would be the name (adding "classic") and perhaps the color. I don't think Hank, Roger and the rest of the guys would put together something that woudln't be approved.
quote:i dont get it, why they have to make most of the balls with the purple colour? i want a heavy oil ball to be red!im not bowling for the look but it gets boring when 5 people uses purple color balls...--------------------I go two-handed, and i hate stupid 10pins! cuz my 12lb spare ball hooks too much!
quote:Actually the core is grandfathered in. That's how Ebonite was able to get the No Limit in
quote:Cores are not "grandfathered in", balls are. The No Limit and Visionary's Immortals are grandfathered in because the balls (not the cores) were approved prior to the rule change. Likewise for all the other balls with high diffs that were released in the last year or so (Hammer had one or two as well). If cores were grandfathered in, Lane 1 could put the Cherry Bomb core in new balls. And every other previously approved high-diff core could be put into new balls. RG could put the Epic Battle's cover on the new SD-73 since it's the same core as the old SD-73 and it would be approved. But it can't be, because it's a new ball, not just an old core.SH
quote:Charlest, True about the coverstock, but remember that the SD-73 came out way before the SS.............--------------------Chris Lane#1--nothing else hits like 'em.
