Rotogrip guys, a question for you
« on: April 14, 2006, 08:53:41 AM »
Hey Guys, I've been thinking about trying one of the newer
Rotogrip mid-priced balls and there seems to be several quality
balls to choose from.  I usually prefer the skid/flip type balls
and was thinking about something w/ a strong backend in the RS
line.  Anyone thrown the RS-X and Horizon yet by any chance, and if
so, which is longer and/or stronger????

Thanks

Go to Roto Grip website for videos of the balls for comparison purposes. The Horizon is smoother, and less angular on the backend than other Rot Grip balls. Most skid / flip mid priced Roto Grip would be SSSE. Great ball.

Hey, I generally keep my speed around 14.5-15 mph.  Backend is
sometimes hard to come by in our house.  I get a lot of forward
roll and have a fairly high track.  I'm usually most comfortable
and limited to standing between 10-15 and throwing out to 5.
I've been throwing the Hawg Wild, but it sometimes breaks a
little early.  The Big Rig Diesel works great, but it doesn't handle
carrydown well in my opinion.

I hav and have thrown both and the horizion is longer and stronger than the rsx.  I extremely suggest this ball it is a great piece.
