JMC,
That’s a pretty strong line-up there. LOL.
There are some interesting videos regarding the two balls on YouTube by a fellow named Tom Sorce. He reviews the NRP, DD, and CB separately. As you may know already, the NRP and the DD have the same coverstock. The only major difference between the two balls is the core or weight block. Or course, the NRP is stronger, but not by an extreme amount.
What I see from the videos is that the NRP is earlier and stronger than the CB, and it can be used on a higher volume of oil. The coverstock looks to be quicker off of the end of the pattern than the CB, too.
Check out the video (s) here:

The NRP, DD, and CB are not dry lanes balls. LOL.
Consider the Roto Grip Wreck Em or the new Storm Match UP’s (Solid or Pearl) to possibly complete the arsenal.
Also, with Bowl Expo only being a few weeks away, consider holding out for a few weeks until we start to see what some of the other companies are putting out.
I personally want to buy the NRP (on sale), but I decided to wait until the newer equipment is announced at Bowl Expo. After hearing about the new No Rules Exist coming, I’m a waiting patiently to see what the ball looks like before I spend some of my tax refund on the new balls. LOL. Good Luck!
Peace!
