need surface suggestion for mutant cell
« on: January 08, 2010, 11:18:40 AM »
the 2000 grit oob finish snaps to hard on the backend and is hard to keep off the nose.

brought the surface down to 1000 grit and ball is now easy to get to the pocket but leaves countless 10 pins.

now should i leave it at 1000 grit and add some ebonite factory finish polish or try 4000 grit abralon pad?

ball is drilled stacked with pin by ring finger, cg kicked in a tad under ring finger and rg line up with pin by thumb.

thanks

try taking it down to 4000. If that does not seem to work you could try polishing it, or polish it then go over it lightly with a 2000 pad for a short time.

I hit mine with some storm ultra shine I think it is.  Probably the 3500 equivalent.  I did it by hand and it mellowed it out a bit.

try 1000 ab pad to adjust the surface , then hit it with rough buff finish should do the trick
