Nomad Dagger and Infinite Theory

 I currently throw the Dagger as my main ball on THS, it really is a great piece and I love the fact that it is a hybrid with symmetric core. It rolls smooth with a nice backend finish.  The problem is I need a bit stronger to start out on the fresh.  The Infinite Theory looks like it may me just what I am looking for.  My question is, because it is an asymmetrical hybrid, what will be the most noticeable difference ( numbers look like it is a good deal stronger)?

  I really have not liked asymmetric cores in the past, however they were not hybrids. I plan on drilling it the same pin under as my Dagger?  Would these two balls work well together?  Thanks in advance.

For me the infinite is a little bit longer and more hook than dagger

The IT should be just the step up from the Dagger that you want/need.
The concern with an asymmetric is that the position of the MB has a serious effect on the overall ball's reaction, much more so that the CG's position in the drilling of the Dagger.
You need to work with a knowledgeable driller to set up the ball correctly for your release and the oil you want to handle. The Dual Angle set -up is a good way to gauge a drilling for any ball, especially for asymmetrics.
 
The current issue of BM has a brief explanation in Joe Slowinski's column. MoRich's website has a ton of details, and a visit to BowlingChat.net's forum,BowlingChat's forum, is a great place to get a recommendation. (Be prepared to tell them your rev rate, ball speed, tilt, rotation.)

Most stronger hybrid balls are asymmetric now. In fact, most of the strong balls are asymmetric.
 
A couple of the stronger hybrid symmetrics are :
Hammer's Arson handles medium-heavy oil and is, according to Hammer, 60% pearl and 40% solid.
Lanemasters Sting Widow Maker is  a solid/pearl hybrid that comes lightly polished.for medium oil. If you dullled it to 2000 or 4000 grit, I am sure it will handle lots of oil.
 
Storm's Reign Supreme and Hyoad are also hybrid symmetrics. Both come polished. Sanded to 2000/3000/4000 grit and they would be stronger than the Dagger.
Heck, sand the Dagger to 2/3/4000 grit and it will also be stronger than the polished Dagger.
