yes sir I drilled this piece up last week along with the Mutant Cell Pearl. The Grenade is drilled Rico and it rolls up early and really smooths out on the backend.. Hitting power is very good. This ball is going to work great on the shorter PBA patterns as I can square up and go at them.

Thanks for the response TJ!  That's exactly what I was thinking of doing, Rico drilling a urethane ball.
I had a SD73 sitting for a while and thought I would give a Rico drill a try. Threw it last week and I just love the reaction and wlll be drling more this way.
Anyone else throw it or recommend another brand?  Keeping my options open.

I am waiting for one of the other companies besides Brunswick to come out with a pearl urethane. Hopefully with a real strong asymetric core in it. I think that would be something real interesting.

Completebowler, if you are looking for a strong urethane, look no further than the Seismic Desperado. Although it is a little on the pricey side, from what I have heard and seen it is real good. Strong core with a urethane cover that has a silicone additive to give it a little extra length

Mine was shipped today to me. I use the original Blue Grenade alot on shorter PBA patterns and a couple houses around me that are old wood and really old lane oil machines.

My Grenade rolls a lot like my Boomered Dark Star, but starts a touch earlier and is a little flatter on the back. It's ideal for me on Cheetah and looks really good on the house shot at the center my house is in because we got beat up HPLs here. Looked good on Chameleon at the same house early on last night as well.

BTW- The Mutant Cell Pearl is an absolute beast. Way more versatile reaction than the solid, 100X better- and I liked the solid.
