Has anyone thrown both of these? What is the difference in reaction between the two?

I have them both. I have the Reign sharper off the spot. Nomad Pearl has more of an arc motion to me.

Mike,
Thanks for the reply! Do you find them to be about the same strength? I'm looking for a Pearl that will allow me to move in and open the lane up. I'm a med rev/speed player. I have not really found anything that fits that bill yet. The numbers on these are a little different. The diff. on the Nomad is higher...RG pretty close. is the layout on both your similar?

To get in and open the lane up, the Reign would be the best bet. What I was seeing with the NP was a softer move off the friction. For me, I would go to the NP if the back ends were jumpin' and the Reign if they started to carry down in the back.

I have had to lightly scuff both with 4000abd pads. Storms factory shine skids too much for me out of the box (I am a med rev/med speed, low axis rotation player). I also wanted to be able to duplicate the surface as much as possible during routine maintainence.

I say "was seeing" because my NP got chewed up at the center yesterday morning. I have a long mark right smack dab in the area where I track. I threw a shot and the ball jumped slightly on the lane. I spoke to the center and they are going to replace it for me. Bummer as they do compliment each other quite well. (
