Norther Ireland World Cup Qualifier
« on: August 19, 2007, 11:48:42 AM »
We had our qualifier this weekend for the 2007 AMF Bowling Worl Cup, and the Roto throwers dominated

I finished up first, and used the Mystic all day, Grant Dugan second, using the Epic Saga, David Williamson thrid using the Saga and Mystic, and David "Phil" Frame 4th, using the Odyssey and Mystic!

Even better, this was 4 RPS reps in the top 4 delighted

Unfortunately, I will not be able to go to the World Cup (in Russia) so Grant Dugan will be going in my place, when i'm sure he will use is all Roto arsenal to great affect

Congrats, Ryan, Well done!!!

Shame that you can't go to Russia.

I heard on Talk Tenpin that there are some visa problems for those that are going?

Oi. Don't acknowledge the RPS lady who won it, then!!! So that's 5 of us!

Everyone played great, I used mostly my Horizon and it was fantastic.

Yay Roto Grip!

We are looking into it for the next year or so (yes I know we have been for a few years! )

The problem is money.. every year there is at least one major tournament we need to play that costs a fortune...

2008 will be the commonwealths (venue for which i am not sure, but i will hopefully be playing that) and the World Championships in Thialand!  We will get very little help from our federation (despide these being international representation events), but i think 2009 could be the year!

I was talking to dave about this about a week ago, and I think we should simply book our flights about a year in advance, then we HAVE to go!
