For those who are curious ... I tried breaking the shine on my MVP. I tried it at 4000 and it wasn't very good. Removing the shine defeats the design intent of the ball, which for me is length and quicker angular recovery. I put it back to 1500 polish and won all my brackets -- GO FIGURE !

I'm assuming you lost the recovery you were use to having before or was it still too over/under?
