Oil layout for Epic
« on: February 06, 2006, 09:14:15 AM »
Hey Rotofans.  Ordered an Epic from Buddies yesterday.  called for a 15 lb with a 2 - 3 inch pin.  I picked this up for a tournament and heavy oil ball. Loved the reaction my friend got when I drilled his up 4 x 4 but I don't think I want to drill mine like that.  I'm thinking more on the lines of about 4 1/2" to 4 3/4" pin to PAP, CG kicked out and RG in strong position with the pin below my ring finger so that it picks up a little earlier than my RS-P drilled  5 x 4 on a 4 1/2" pin.  I don't have a ball in my bag that has the pin under.  I don't want to have a skid/snap drilling but more of an arc drilling.  Either this one or I might drill it 4 x 4 with the pin at least even with my fingers or a little lower.  What does everyone think?  I love the reaction out of my RS-P but don't want to drill another ball like that since I've got a Paradigm on the way as well that I'm going to drill 5 x 4 (my favorite X-factor drilling)  Tell me what you think.  Thanx guys.
