which one would you get...

its all simple physics

Depends what you want. Skid/snap go with the S&A. Length with arc, go with the Oracle Vision. Which ever one you choose, you won't be disappointed. The S&A is just awesome, and the Oracle Vision is loved in my area, and I know someone that has three of them in the bag. Both great balls!!

I definitely would not characterize the S&A as "skid/snap". It handles medium to medium-hevay oil for most people with its out of the box cover. Because of its asymmetric core, its average ball reaction is a very hard arc, much harder in general than the Vision which is smoother, but still very strong.
I have mine drilled for forward roll and polished for medium-light to medium oil and it has a very strong breakpoint, but still not a skid and snap reaction. (The forward roll drilling is for forward roll after the breakpoint.)
Also the S&A is more sensitive to drilling to get the desired ball reaction and requires a more consistent release and ball speed to get the most out of the drilling. I think the Vision is less sensitive and may be better for the less consistent release bowler.
Both hit like runaway trucks.

Bowling: Just like hand grenades and horse shoes, you only have to get close.
Life: Deal with what is.
