I just bought a used and fully plugged Oracle Vision and have a couple of questions.
1. Does this ball have the mass bias marked in any way? This one I have does not but I am thinking the guy drilled his thumb hole right thru it and now that its plugged, I can't see it. The drill instructions from the Roto Grip website show an rg marking for the mass bias.
2. Thinking about using the 4 in from pap drilling for heavy oil.. Anyone here have one of these balls drilled this way??
Any and all comments are appreciated..

Yes it does have a MB. At the camp i just got back from a kid had on and the Mb was marked with a RG(i think)
Just spin it or whatever to find the MB?

The Oracle Vision Core is Asymetrical. It is similar to the Apocalypse weight block, but the densities were tweaked a little bit. The weight block is a sphere with one half larger than the other half. If you draw a line from the pin thruough the cg and measure down 6 3/4" you should get your mass bias.
thank you,

Ok, so does this mean the CG is NOT marked on the ball? Just wanted to make sure. The photos on the drill page imply that the cg is marked with an rg.

see they dont show the cg on the drill pattern because of the fact that it doesnt make that big of a difference...there should be like a star or something at least thats what the cg on my rush is labeled with...
any other markings besides the pin and missing mass bias

It has the pin and cg markings like any other ball but no mass bias mark and I think it should have one. Can someone with an Oracle Vision let me know for sure?

Yes it has a mass bias. I should be 6 3/4 from your pin (the cg is marked with a star), and marked by a small rg. I have one drilled 4 x 4 and it works great on heavy oil in box condition which is 1000 grit matte. Polished it will work well with oil with stronger backends. Good Luck!!!

I guess the one I have had the thumb hole right in the mass bias area because I have no rg mark at all. I will just have my ball driller measure down 6 3/4 from the pin and consider that spot the MB.
thanks for all the answers..
