Original Show Off

Buddies has these in 15 lbs. for $79.95 right now. When these were discontinued I never really looked into getting one, but a while after the idea of it grew on me. Had to jump on one now.

Has anybody really liked theirs? I know it's a pretty niche ball with a cover that absolutely needs oil but it should work for me and how I like to play the lanes. Not sure whether a layout to smooth out the reaction or a layout to promote length and help that cover conserve energy makes more sense though.

I also noticed that go up on there today. That's a hard price to pass up but the Winner Solid has my eye too much to get both.

I think if I was to get one, I would personally go with a strong pin but big VAL angle, so like a 4"x70. I'm somewhat basing this off of a 5"x30 Haywire that I had that I just didn't like, and it's a similar core/cover setup.
Current Rotation:
PhysiX
Code X
Code Black
Axiom Pearl
Phaze III
Trend

Ball is strong. Ball burn up too much at box on house shot for me. On sport it did better. I never changed the surface and a buddy of mine took it he is rev challenged and it worked great for him.. I had a 4.5" pin up on mine. Winner solid looks like it might be the sweet spot more than the Show off.
