I recently gon my hands in a Neptune drilled pin 1 inch from my axis with the cg close to my grip center.  I really like this ball for our house shot.  It is very smooth and arcs nicely to the pocket.  I am looking at getting another ball to be drilled the same way but with a little more surface, I want the ball to hold the mids, or have more forgiveness if thrown outside.  Has anyone tried scuffing the neptune?  Or should I consider the Venus?  Any suggestions are appreciated.

Well I don't have a Neptune but love my Venuses Yes I now have 2 I think its the best ball in the plant line. Now for the Neptune I would say try a different surface if you don't like it its a easy fix. My only thought if your looking for more forgiveness to the outside 1" to PAP is the wrong way to go. You may consider a stronger pin position to you PAP to get the ball to read harder of the spot. The Venus has a stronger cover and the Saturn even stronger. If you were to put them in order, but you want to go with the 1" to PAP layout you may considerer the Mystic. One of the more under rated balls in the hole Roto line. It should give you the harder roll you are looking for.
