Does anyone know if Roto Star balls are approved for use on the national tour?

Yes. Otherwise Tommy DeLutz would be training so hard.

Roto Star was the original name of a ball made by Roto Grip long time ago.
I would think its Grandfathered in.

The RS series of balls, the RS-1, the RS-X and the new RS-P, are all Roto-Stars; they actually have that name on the ball. It's just a model name, so to speak.

It's like Legends is the up-market models of the LaneMasters brand. Like Lexus is to Toyota, Infiniti is to Nissan, etc., except they are marketed by the same people.

But I don't think the RS is an "upmarket" for anything else.....just 'different'

I'd think Roto-Grip is more like Honda's.  Cheap and reliable.  Most people that use them seem to swear by them.  I honestly think they're the most bang for the buck and I don't even have one in my bag.  I've thrown the majority of them(all except the vision, Epic, Mercury, and Sonic Solid) and have only had two bad experiences.  I give my good friend BMM a hard time about throwing his, but it'd all in good fun lol.
