pearl cell help
« on: April 29, 2009, 10:09:01 AM »
I have a pearl cell drilled 4x4 pin right of finger and up a little, mb about 1 inch right of thumb, my pap is over 5 and up 1/4,high track player, med revs speed dominate,17-18 mph, my avg is 208-213, for some reason this ball does not seem very strong to me it is kind of early and weak.i have takin it to 4000 abralon its just longer still weak. Im thinking of a new drill somthing like 5.5 by 3 pin up what do all you ball gurus think ........thanks for the help

This ball is not weak. I like the idea of the new drilling. This core does have a tendency to burn up early if drilled too strong. I think the new drilling will help it store power for the dry. That is more like what I have mine and it is quite a strong ball but not overly jumpy or angular. It will give you a little more rounded hockey stick reaction.

I have had 2 Cell Pearls. 1st one was drilled 4x4 like my original Cell. I found this one was too over/under for me so I drilled a 2nd one with 3.5 pin to pap with the pin under the ring, MB @ 4" just past my Val. Love this Ball, there is a world of difference in these 2...

Before you try a new layout, can you please tell me where the balance hole is located, how deep it has been drilled, and the approximate diameter? Also, does it have an angle or has it been drilled at zero and zero?
