Pearl Cell vs Storm Gravity Shift
« on: December 03, 2008, 01:41:23 AM »
I currently have the G. Shift, pin just slightly left of ring finger, MB kicked out 1" a balance hole in thumb area quad.

In comparison, is the Pearl Cell longer ? stronger?  Could these balls
compliment each other as lanes change. or would one be better off with
the original Cell.  My Roto Solid Horizon just experienced a crack around
the circumference of the ball, only the finger grips are salvagable.

I got to throw both balls back-to-back the other day at a Storm/Rotogrip Open House.  I threw my own Gravity Shift (that actually fits my hand well) against one of the demo Cell Pearls (that doesn't fit my hand quite as well), so take these results for what you will.  Both had similar drills, pin over ring finger, just shy of being centered over the bridge, MB just right of the thumbhole, no x-hole.  The Cell Pearl was about two feet longer, and about three boards stronger on the backend.
