Also, what roto grip ball has the most backend.  I heard it was the Silver Streak line, if that is correct, which one?  If it is not correct, what other ball has the most backend.

None of the current touring pros throw RG because RG chose not to be fully registered.  The PBA wanted too much money and instead of paying to be approved for the national tour, they chose Grassroots.  That means they can only be used on the regional and senior tours.  I'm sorry I won't see any RG on TV, but I'm glad someone decided to tell the PBA to shove their "registration" fees where they belong.  It's got nothing to do with specifications or rules and everything to do with money.

Tommy Delutz, Jr is probably the most notable RG staffer in the last few years.  Brian LeClair also was (maybe is) a RG staffer.

The fee from what I hear is ridiculous and it is the reason that my company (Visionary) doesn't do it either, though I wish they would do grassroots....ufff.

Anyway, all I can say about the affect of that on TV is after I see a pro throw a ball on TV all of the sudden I start seeing it everywhere. I cannot tell you how sick I am already of seeing a sea full of "The One" and even the Enriched Uranium I see more of since Loschetter threw it on TV. So I'm sure for those who succeed with the ball the payoffs can be great but do you have the right player throwing your ball might be the better question to ask?

Tommy Jones made the "Big Time" popular not just because he won with it but he also had personality, too. The same goes for the "Overtime" I do not see as many of those as "Big Time" and "The One". Anyway, sorry to hijack the thread.....
