Roger, or anybody... the Roto Grip EARTH
« on: July 22, 2008, 11:06:26 AM »
What kind of CORE does Roto Grip's "overseas" ball, the EARTH have?

Roto's website shows a Smallish type Dynamic Core (by dynamic, I don't mean a high tech core like the CELL... but instead just a little better than a pure PANCAKE block)

http://rotogrip.com/products/balls/ball.asp?ballid=17

BUT...

The following web site shows the EARTH's core to be just A SIMPLE PANCAKE core

http://bowlingballreviews.com/ball.asp?ballid=3164

So which one is right???

And I am guessing but wouldn't the EARTH be the very next step below the Neptune? So when the Neptune is hooking a little too much, the Earth would go a tad longer and put you back in the pocket???

Is there somewhere where I can find some information on this OVERSEAS ball? A web site? A newsletter? A video on UTUBE?

Thanks!

This core is a glorified pancake core with a flip block. very weak.

So basically the one on Roto Grip site is the accurate one and the one on bowlingballreviews is NOT accurate?

It seems that this ball has got a very similar core to that of STORM's Big Hit Pearl from a couple of years ago:

Would you happen to know the RG and RG DIFFERENTIAL of the EARTH?
