Cell compared to the original Shift
« on: January 25, 2008, 02:13:50 PM »
I am looking to switch from Storm. How does the cell compare to the shift?

Thanks in advance!

Cell is not particle, just resin. the card in the box is wrong.

The Cell is a dull solid resin. The Shift is a polished particle pearl.

Two COMPLETELY different balls for two completely different purposes.

They are not comparable except when house blended oil patterns allow you use vastly different balls and you can throw almost anything you want..

They are comparable as far as one will hook earlier/later, more/less, more predictable/or less.
I know they are two different coverstocks. Thanks for your help though.

I think these balls would serve different roles.  The shift is pretty angular and I hear the Cell is more of a rolly reaction.
