Polished battle

I'm thinking of hitting my Battle with a touch of Bwick Rough Buff polish. It starts up fine, but seems to occasionally lack back end pop. Our house shot isn't dry by any means, but I think it rolls alittle early and sets.
Who has polished their battle? What differences did you see, what about carrydown?

Aw shucks, thanks.
I just drilled my Horizon Solid, so I'll polish the battle and see what happens.
