Arsenal setup with Cell and Dimension
« on: July 13, 2008, 02:40:34 AM »
I love my Cell sanded to 2000, dilled approx 5x4 with pin just above and between fingers, but need a bit more on the longer PBA Experience league patterns. The Cell also seems to lose that beautiful mixing action when dulled down to below 1000.
Lefty, rev challenged, PAP approx 4-3/4 by 1/2 up.

Question with those facts in mind....

If I drilled a Dimension strong, let's say pin in line with ring finger, and kept it OOB, would it create enough differentaition between the Cell to fix the problem?

TIA, L50

Probably.
So would the Cell if you hadn't drilled it with the pin so high and so far.
If you had put it under the ring finger, it would have easily handled all that oil. With that high a pin, you probably moved it closer to being a medium oil ball than a medium-heavy oil ball, without actually being a medium oil ball.

Given your PAP, I assume pin under positions do not tarck over your finger holes.

Anyway, the way things are now should enable you to have a good 1-2 punch for medium-heavy to heavy oil (Dimension) and a full step down to medium to medium-heavy oil (the Cell), with just the right amount of overlap.

(Just kind of surprised, given your rev rate in your profile, that you decided to drill the Cell so weakly. But if it worked for you up to now, who am I to say otherwise.)

Good luck.
