What was the finish on the Hustles prior to the 4K Fast?  Was it 1500 with factory polish?

Most of them were 1500 grit polished but the PBR and HYB were both 3000 abralon.

So the Wine and Camo would have been 1500 and polished, right?  While we're on the subject, how would you rate these two balls with the Hammer Raw Hybrid and Pearl and the new Columbia Messenger?

The Messenger could be stronger and actually closer to the Hyped Pearl or Hustle RAP than the Hustle Wine.  The core of the Messenger is a tad stronger with the lower RG and higher differential and may even a touch stronger than the RAW Hammer Pearl as well.  The Messenger Solid reminds me of the RAW Hammer Black a little bit from the video I saw on YT.  But the core numbers of the Messenger are right there with the Hyped line.  But once more videos come out we should get a better idea what we are looking at.  I dont want to base this off of one video with no side by side comparison.

You've really past the point of overthinking it with information overload.

There is no perfect choice. A lot of times it can be really beneficial for people to simplify

They were 1500 grit polish which is different than 1500 then polish. The actual steps are 500, 1000, Step 2 polish, and the 1500 comes from the Step 2 polishing grit which uses a different level of measurement than the surface RA values.
