Question about the Crown spare ball...
« on: August 27, 2009, 02:21:10 PM »
Hey guys,

What is the core in the Crown spare ball? Is it a "real" core or some kind of pancake block? Thanks.

My 2 cents:
Since the RG is 2.7, and the RG Differential is 0.015, I'd have to assume it's a plain pancake core. Also since they don't even show the core on the web page, I think you'd also have to assume that. If it were something special, I believe they would mention it as an additional advertising benefit.

I figured it was likely to be a pancake, but when you click the link to the ball on the BR homepage, it says the ball has the "Kingdom Core." Sounds kind of lame, quite honestly, to refer to a pancake block by any other name than "pancake." That confuses the consumer.

Not sure but I would assume the "Kingdom core" is probably refering to the graphics.
