Question about the quest
« on: June 23, 2007, 02:12:46 PM »
I was looking at some pic of the ball and noticed  shell goes all the way to the core at lease in the pics. So the question is is there a filler between the core and the shell.

Some do, some don't.  Those with very large cores like the Planets and Sonics do not.  The Silver Streak SE did not while the RS line, which had essentially the same core did.  As do the Horizons.

They may have what appears to be fillers, but I still think those balls have coverstocks that vary in thickness which, in a way, affects the overall RG and differential numbers just like balls that are just coverstock and core.

From a reliable source that the Quest
doesn't have a filler core...

The Quest is not wrapped in a 7 1/2" core like a majority of our high end and mid price equipment.
