release date of Epic?

not sure when it was released which is why im asking. I was at a aley today and i saw a really bad bowler throwing one and i wasnt sure if it was released yet. Though he could have gotten it from Tommmy Delutz Jr. who runs the shop over at that house...but when was it released and if not yet then when?

The Epic was available as of July 21, 2005.
