Retro Blue coming in ... very excited!
« on: September 29, 2004, 03:50:06 PM »
Always wanted one of these babies!  On the way.

I'm wondering how close to my Reaction Rip as specs are very similar!"

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS now I'll have Sonic Pearl, Sonic Boom, silver Streak solid, SS particle and now the blue bayou!

LL,
This ball snaps big time. I drilled one up with a short pin and the cg and pin in palm. Great length then someone kicked it left(not all of us are fortunate enough to be able to bowl lefty). Man did that ball snap. Bigest backend of any ball I've ever seen.
Enjoy!

I've been telling my proshop guy how my Blue moves tons more than my X-Factor and he's shocked -- said they didn't even stock them when they came out!!

I am real curious to see next to my Reaction Rip which can be pretty impressive in the go long turn .....RIGHT department.

I'm going to set up with a weaker drilling than my awesome Sonic Boom to just slot slightyly stronger than it if possible.

REgards,

PS Louie you would love being righty in my area, in one year hear yesterday I saw my second 700 by a lefty in my home house!

The Retro is much stronger than the Boom, I've had both. The Retro makes a very sharp turn compared to the Boom, I had both laid out the same way.

I sort of had that figured so because I like my Sonic Boom reaction, I was not going to drill the same and drill blue weaker so I had two pretty close reactions with blue still stronger.

I saw diff of .58 vs .29.

The only advantage of lefty bowlers in my area is the lack of transition. The shot stays pretty much the same all night. The right handers have to move a lot more. I don't see any lefty bowlers tearing it up in my area, but I haven't seen many high quality wrong siders here. I don't think the lanes have much to do with it.
