arsenal rebuilding help?
« on: January 18, 2006, 10:51:52 PM »
Due to some real life issues I have been throwing my old equiptment so far for this fall/winter season. I got rid of most of my balls and am left with my much used inferno and green gargoyle that both need to be replaced. I really like what I am seeing from the roto grip mid price and low price line up and would like some help with what balls to start off with so I can build an arsenal around. Due to an old wrist injury I am a low rev stroker with 15 to 16mph ball speed. My pap is 5 1/4 over by 7/8 up. I use 15lb. balls but am also considering going to 14 to take some pressure off my wrist. I know all the pro's and con's of the ball weight talk but I got to do what I got to do. I am probably looking to stay away from the extremes for now and go with two balls in the med hvy oil to the med light oil range. I could make an educated decision on my own but thought I would get some suggestions here first. I really like the rs and se line up of balls and was guessing on the rsp and ssse to start with. What do you thing? Any help will be much appreciated.

First of all....the RSX isn't in this thread.....so why bring it up.....

It's the same ball as the RSP but a solid cover instead of particle pearl! Where are you getting this garbage ?  Based on what?  Please advise!

I agree with Jeff Revs. I just got a RSP (my first roto) and what a ball! I am now looking to maybe replace my original x-factor (which I love) with a SSSE!

also Jish....you could top the whole thing off w/ a Saturn or Mercury!

Thank's for the responses. Actually Jeff, that was my thought's exactly with regards to the saturn and the mercury. I am not sure where the comment's on the rsx are going but that doesn't make any sense to me eihter.

Jeff, got any recommended drillings for the rsp and ssse? I haven't seen them thrown so maybe you can narrow it down better than me.
