Retro Resurrection Update
« on: March 11, 2004, 08:46:03 PM »
Hey Roto fans,

In a conversation with Roger the other day comparing other balls to the Retro.......he had told me that RG is making a "running" change to the coverstock of the Retro Res.  The cover will come out of the box 1000 sanded/matte finish, NOT 1500 polished. R&D found this cover finish fit the ball much better for the reaction desired for the RG arsenal.

All literature is printed 1500 polished and will remain that way, once again, box condition=1000 matte.

I'll try to answer any questions, if not, I'll call Mr. Know-it-all!

So from my understanding, this change will make it a better fit in between the Rush and the Silver Streak Solid?  Both the Rush and the Retro Res will be 1000 grit sanded, with the Rush having 11 length and 18 backend, whereas the Retro Res will be 13 length and 18 backend.  This ball will now be longer than the Rush but a similar move?  It'll also be a little bit weaker overall than the Rush, but a little bit stronger overall than the Streak Solid.  Correct me if I'm wrong, thanks for the info.

No, sharper move, similar to the Streak...Rush more archy, Retro more angular, they'll complement eachother.

No, not weaker, just more angular and the Rush could handle a tad more oil...

This ball is a winner buy one you probably will like it vary versitile from many angles as i found out today working with Bill Hall. Great ball for 115.00 out the door i payed for it and it should be considered high performance just like the super charge from storm i own should be also.
