RSX!
« on: March 06, 2007, 11:54:30 PM »
I picked up a used RSX a couple weeks ago got the thumb plugged and moved to match my grip and had it resurfaced and polished.  Pin is just right of ring, and down a hair, cg close to grip center.  My pap is 5-1/2 over 1/2 up so it ends up being a pretty strong layout, not sure on the exact numbers.  I'm a low end tweener, probably in the neighborhood of 320-350rpms and 17mph.

I just got to throw it last night at league on our fresh but med-light oil shot.  Not the best condition for the ball, but boy did it impress me!  I figured the ball would check up early and roll out on this condition.  I was wrong.  As long as I gave it some room and plenty of swing this thing came screaming back.  This ball has easily the most recovery of any ball I've thrown!  Nice midlane, revs up nice and backend is just sick.  Easily 5 boards stronger than my Track Machine on this condition, and more continuation through the deck.  Lots of flare on this ball, 5-6in probably.

My favorite part of the night was when one of my teammates said "I thought that ball was washout city" after I got one a little to far outside (4 board), but it came back hard and crushed the pocket.  I was standing on 32 at the end of the night, throwing out to around 7, when I'm usually standing 26 throwing out to 7 with my other stuff.  Shot a 267 last game.

Me likey!

on the right condition, i just cant miss
--------------------
When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one

This guy on youtube posts videos of the PBA
for ppl who dont watch TV or want to save the matches this will be great!
