Title: RG Distrubed Replacement
Post by: NY Mike on December 29, 2016, 10:34:10 AM
Looking for some advice regarding the replacement of the DISTURBED prefer something from the RG/STORM family but opened to suggestions.

Currently in the bag with HAMMER Scandal Pearl, RG Hectic and BRUNSWICK LT48.

Haywire? Same core slightly stronger cover
You could also replace with a Phase II which I think fits similar strength but maybe a little more angular

Yep. Haywire or Phaze II for the Storm family. The former being the more similar ball due to having the same core.

Outside of those two brands the Freakshow Solid and Game Breaker 2 Phenom might fit what you're looking for. Rebel Solid could too, although not as much as the others mentioned. Same goes for the Revolt Havoc.

Rocket Ship is also an option.  Drilled the same (pin in the ring finger, CG in the palm, with the same surface (polished with a light 4K pad) I get a similar reaction on a fresh house shot.  After transition I had some weak 10 issues with the Disturbed.  The Rocket Ship solves that with a little more length and more cornering power.  It's a lot of ball at that price point.

Depends on how close you're trying to get. The Haywire and Phaze II descriptions have been described relatively well. My personal vote is for the 900 Global Infrared.

AMF Ninja. Stronger cover than the Infrared and more dynamic core.

Agree Haywire is the way to go.  Phaze II would be other good option.
