Neptune- Drilling Recommendations
« on: March 24, 2007, 12:17:48 AM »
I have a Neptune I am getting punched up Monday. Looking to fill a gap between my Ultra Sonic( drilled with 6" pin and CG in palm)  and Silver Streak SE( 5" pin under fingers). Any recommendations welcome. Thank you

Todd:

The cover and core design on that ball make it go a LONG way.  Hints of oil on the lane enhance that look and it can make it look very sharp with weaker layouts.

Our best look out of the half-dozen or so we've done is drill it strong (4-4-1/2) and CG out to make it roll smooth.  Touch the surface with 2000 abralon by hand.  Still gets to the spot easily but is much smoother and controllable.
