If you want that same midlane reaction as the Cell, your only option really IS the Cell, or possibly a Rogue Cell with the surface dulled to the same level as the original Cell. The Dimension is close, but a touch longer. Anything else (NVD, Magic, etc.) might be just as strong, but it's going to be a very different reaction. Every time I've seen the Magic, it's been a couple feet longer than the Cell, and I've tried an NVD and it's much, much, much more angular than the Cell could ever dream of being. The Cell is a very unique reaction in today's ball market, it's hard to duplicate it without just getting the Cell itself. (And it isn't a surprise that my Cell is my get-out-of-jail-free card whenever I find a tough oil pattern!)
