anyone know why this one might be a little tricky to drill? makes a good point as to why you shouldnt buy online.

hope your not right handed otherwise it going to need a crater to get the weight out to get statics right let me guess you bought it from bowlingball.com as a first and they sent that to you, i refuse to buy any balls from them anymore i got three different balls from them like that bunch of bs. Now if you bought a pro cg than that is what you paid for a second.

Id say drill out the CG with the ring finger and put the Pin and MB in a "stacked" type position. shouldnt be that bad.

Good luck! A friend of mine had a Fear Factor with a less dramatic but similar CG position, and it rolled crappy... could have been the ball itself, though.

Maybe try a pin-axis or half-axis layout with this one, CG in the palm and the MB just outside of the thumb?

I know bowlingball.com has had "pro-cg" realms on the site for a while now.  I do believe that they post that the ball is a "pro-cg" and offer a description of exactly what that is.  If you bought one that was supposed to be a normal ball then I could see you being a bit angry.

Moreover, the ball isn't really all that difficult to drill.  If you're a righty you could have the cg relatively close to your cog (probably like under your middle finger) to where you wouldn't need an extra hole, and the mass bias wouldn't be swung out all that far.

I'm not actually sure what to suggest for laying it out but i'd definitely weigh that ball and make sure the CG is marked correctly.

If it hasn't already been suggested... Check the location of the MB with a DeTerminator.
