Looking to pick up a Rogue Cell
« on: April 14, 2009, 08:25:15 AM »
I'm looking to pick up a Rogue Cell and I'm pretty sure I am going to get it drilled 5x3 with a 3" pin buffer. I'm just wondering what kind of specs would be best to suit this drilling? Like a long pin vs a short pin and top weight?

It's going to be a 15lb ball, I just want to get some ideas of what specs best fit the 5x3 drilling.
Thanks

A 3.5" to 4" pin would work well.If you are right handed and can get a ball with the cg offset to the left 1-2 inches you probably would not need a weight hole.Definitely try to not get a ball with less than a 3" pin.

Mine is a 3.5" pin set up at 5x3 with a 2.98 top wt. This is working well for me. Hell, I threw  9 in a row last night with it. You will be pleased.

Thanks for the replies guys, I kind of figured a longer pin would be better. But I just wanted to check, thanks.
