I just picked up my new Rouge Cell (my first Roto Grip ball) from the proshop earlier today. I'm going to give it a try at league tomorrow. My league is using our pattern #1 this week, which is a 42' flat gutter to gutter pattern.

I went with my favorite layout which is pin above the bridge 5.5" from pap, MB 2" right of thumb and no balance hole.

How do you like your Rouge Cell? What layout did you use?

I'm picking up my Cell pearl next week and am considering getting the original Cell. I figured these three would complement each other well.

i like my rogue so far i had drill with continuos roll. my cell was drill for heavy oil which i haven't found yet. but will be bowling in a pba league shot this monday so i guees i can test it out in a way. then i have the cell pearl which is drill with smooth roll. i'm not good at what drill pattern. only thing i notice is it has a strong smooth roll cell pearl that is.

i also have grand illussion was drilled stacked?! and pluto a weak drill almost zero type i guess. for light to dry lane. but i think the cell, rogue, cell pearl would pretty much my tournament/sweepers arsenals. grand illusion and pluto league play. that's how i would do it.

I've got mine drilled...
4 1/2" pin to pap (3" above midline)
MB 5" to pap (or65Â°)
X-hole 2" down pap on Val
OOB surface

I only have 3 games on the ball, and its already paid for itself. 247 last game
in league to win 3rd game high pot by 1 pin...a nice $75 bones. The other
two games were in the high 220s.

For me, and with this layout, the ball seems to have natural length to it. Just
like my Ncode, which I love. The Rogue has a very strong dominate move to
the pocket on the backend.

Our house has a 39ft THS on the low friction Anvilanes. The lanes
tend to play over/under alot due to the low friction. When the lanes
breakdown you can play the swing a bit. I've been playing around 10 with my Ncode to eliminate the over/under I have been getting trying to play inside.

Now, the Rogue, I was playing 4th/5th arrow and it was still making a very
strong move to the pocket and still had tremendous carry. I shoot 247 with it
playing that deep and alot of people questioned what ball I was using to be
able to play that deep at this house. I was surprised at the length it got, being a heavy oiler. Could be because of the 14lb specs?...RG 2.57, diff .047
I dont know but mine has alot of length and a very strong pop on the backend.

So far my first 3 games im in the 680s with it, and I do like to play inside,
so we will see in the next few weeks how it is. But so far I do ENJOY throwing it.

had mine for three sets know and im still not sold completely on the rogue. was supposed to replace my cell pearl witch has around 200 games on it. have shot good scores and havent had a game under 200 but the ball just seems a little weak, doesnt finish nearly as well as my pearl did.

I got my Rogue drilled up Saturday and took it for a few spins. I threw 2 practice games to get the hang of the ball, and figure out how I was going to have to throw it. Once I learned to really get under the ball and give it some revs, one of the guys at my center oiled up 2 lanes fresh with our league shots and I tried it out on fresh oil. I rolled a 175, a 176, and a 255 for a 606 series. This is my first time on a league and and I started very slow so my average is only 137 so far but climbing. Needless to say I am very impressed with my rogue. It hits like a freight train and carries well through the pins.
