Epic Battle,good for Strokers?
« on: October 13, 2006, 03:51:13 AM »
For a long time I have had some difficulties with heavy/long oil and have been considering buying a Epic Battle. However due to living overseas its going to cost a bomb,in the region of about $350.

I would like to hear from any strokers who have an Epic Battle on how they are getting on with the ball and what drilling/surface prep they have.

I have heard a lot of good things about this ball but Im having to seriosuly think about how much its going to cost as I do not have much cash to spare.

It must be nice living in the States and getting your equipment much cheaper!

I would have got away with it if it was not for those pesky kids (Behind my lane) and those blasted 10 pins.

I think it's a great ball for strokers. It all depends ahow you drill it.

You can drill it strong and it will not burn out as long as there is oil.

My friend just punched one out yesterday and drilled it pin next to ring finger

with the MB kicked out 3 inches to the right. Ball reved up hard and had a

nice hard arc finish. Why don't you buy a ball from the states and have it

shipped over to London.

I have looked into it but It seems that once I have figured in shipping costs, import duty and drilling, its as much as it would be just to buy it from my house pro shop.

Talk to RotoRPS about that...he might be able to hook you up with a bit of a discount, and he's more local for you.

Also, as a stroker, the Battle is PERFECT as long as there's a bit of head oil.

I think the Battle is great for a stroker, especially when the lanes get soupy.

I'm a stroker and Ryan drilled one up for me. Absolutely fantastic ball, I love it.
