What ball in the Roto line would be a good complement to the original Cell?
My Cell (drilled 5x3 from Roto layout suggestions) is usually good on the fresh but struggles during transitions or moves inside or using more angle thru the fronts.

Try the Mutant with a 4x4 with a 1.5 inch pin Buffer. Great for the inside angle..

Pluto drilled strong can do it too. Or the Riot. They will both allow you to make a step right coming off the Cell. Otherwise the Cell Pearl or either Nomad will get though the heads nicely. As far as the Rogue don't even try it. That ball was designed to be and is stronger than the Cell. Just because it is a hybrid does not make it weaker. It is the hybrid version of the Mutant cover not the original Cell cover. Straight from the Roto website it was the strongest cover ever made by Roto when it came out.
