Non-speculative replacement for the Mars
« on: January 22, 2013, 04:34:19 PM »
I don't really want feedback from anyone that didn't have a Mars...

What piece or pieces have you used to get a similar look to your Mars?  It doesn't have to come out of Utah either....

I wonder the same thing. Mine is beautiful on the toast, and I'm hoping it doesn't need replacing in the near future.

The 300C looks like it might be viable with the right drilling and surface.

I'm not looking for what you think will replace it.  I'm looking for what it has been replaced by...

Hence the "non-speculative"

My fault. Didn't see the "that you have used" part of your original post.

I replaced mine with a grape vibe. It is very similar for me, but I put a weaker drilling on my grape vibe than my mars.

My home shop has a NIB Mars sitting on the shelf. He's had it for a while, so I'm thinking he'd be reasonable about the sale price. If you want to take a stab, call 815.939.2695 and ask for Lance.
