I just got my Grenade yesterday! Drilled Rico, weight hole in the CG. The ball was taken to 4000 abralon on the spinner. I wanted a urethane ball for a house with old beat up wooden lanes that has really tough, dry lanes. When freshly oiled, the lanes just suck up the oil like a sponge so it changes really quick.
This ball is so smooth! I'm a stroker, about 13-14- mph, med revs, aim third arrow or there abouts, and this ball would have a really smooth controlled arc and hits really hard. My friend was throwing an older urethane ball and he was having a really hard time, and he is a much better bowler than I am. He was having such a hard time due to the lane conditions that he switched hands and started bowling left handed. But the Grenade kept hitting, smooth and hard and I only had to make a 1 board move left with my feet through out the practice session! Thank you RotoGrip for an awesome ball!
